Critical concern: Racism, women
Nationally, Black women are enrolling in higher education at higher rates, but why are they missing at Salve Regina? This session will center on the experiences of collegiate Black women and highlight ways for the Salve Regina community to become culturally aware of how to support them on campus. We will also explore the ways to intentionally engage these students and discuss best practices for improving their retention.
