To start the oral history interview, Dr. Trainor discussed his pre-Salve career in administration leading up to how he started at Salve Regina. Dr. Trainor described his experience as Dean of Undergraduate Studies, including his work on starting the Pell Honors Program and changing the Core curriculum. Following this, Dr. Trainor transitioned into his experience as a professor, both at Salve and with the Salve Study Abroad program to Oxford, England. Dr. Trainor described his course structure and methodology, along with his experiences in the classroom at Salve and abroad. To conclude, Dr. Trainor discussed some of his most memorable Salve Regina experiences and what he hopes for the University’s future.
