Abstract
In this article, Richard Champlin describes the design of the landscaping of various Newport mansions, the meaning behind each and the process undertaken to achieve the specific features of each. In the second installment of this series, Champlin discusses Stoneacre, Vinland, Wakehurst, Morton Park, and Wildacre.
