Abstract
This interesting article by Dr. Robert A. Selig, a Visiting Assistant Professor of History at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan, relates the impressions of Georg Daniel Flohr. Flohr was a German soldier who was in Newport with the Royal Deux-Ponts regiment of Rochambeau's army during the Revolutionary War.
