Abstract
In this article, Eileen G. Slocum provides a wonderful and vivid recollection of growing up on Bellevue Avenue. With a wry sense of humor, Mrs. Slocum dwells fondly on her home, grandparents, parties, and the "festive" meals she enjoyed as a child.
