Abstract
Technology has advanced many aspects of the workforce and many employees will need to increase skills (Jahn, 2017) but who will ensure that current workers get this new knowledge? This paper reviews the impact of recent technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) that is anticipated to cause massive unemployment for the under-skilled and even threatens some white-collared workers (West, 2017). Alternatively, improved technologies can offer new opportunities. Automation can allow workers to have enriched lives and charge organizations with Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to prepare workers for new methods. A survey of students’ anxieties about job displacements and expectations.
