Dr. William J. "Jim" Hersh was a professor of Philosophy at Salve Regina University for forty years from 1970 until his retirement in 2010. During this interview, we discussed his arrival at Salve, the school's financial difficulties in the 1970s, his involvement in the founding and development of the VIA program, and his experiences as a professor in the Philosophy department.
