Jackie Janicki is an alumna of Salve Regina, class of 1972, and majored in nursing. She attended the college at a time of change and tensions at the college and country as a whole. During the interview she described her experience at Salve Regina when a nursing degree program was still in its early stages, the college was an all-girls school, and issues including student rights that were being brought to attention. Later on in Janicki’s career she decided to teach nursing at Salve Regina. She discussed her experiences on the faculty, and different programs she was involved in, including a study-abroad program to Ireland.
