Sister Pat Combies is an alumna of Salve Regina, class of 1965, and majored in English. She joined the Sisters of Mercy at 18, and commuted from East Providence where the convent was. In the interview she discussed her experience of being a nun among the rest of the students, and compared it to traditional student life. She later worked at Salve Regina as an English faculty member, along with being the Dean of Undergraduate Studies. She talked a lot about her responsibilities in different positions, and compared faculty to administrative roles. Towards the end of the interview she described being in a leadership position for the Sisters of Mercy as well.
