Dr. Carol Gibbons has been a mathematics professor since 1989 at Salve Regina. Since she has been at Salve Regina, she has taught a variety of mathematics courses, along with serving on faculty committees, including FACSB, and other activities. She discussed some of the challenges she faced throughout the years, including teaching while working towards her Ph.D, along with department debates such as math placements for incoming students. Although there have been challenges, she also talked in great depth about some of the people and experiences, including guest speakers, that have made her time at Salve Regina so memorable.
