Fran LaSalle is an alumna of the Class of 1962. She studied Sociology and Education. In this interview, she talks about how she came to Salve, her connection to the Sisters of Mercy, and her transition into college as a commuting student. She shares memories about professors, Sister Miley, school traditions, as well as the social divide between commuters and residents, and how that impacted her involvement in the school on campus and certain activities off campus. LaSalle concludes with her sentiments about the positive influence Salve had on the career and life of both herself and her daughter, who is also a Salve Regina alumna.
